What should be paid attention to when installing the rotary kiln tyre

The Rotary kiln is one of the most common key equipment for calcining materials, and the kiln tyre is one of the important accessories to drive the equipment's rotation and production capacity. What problems should be paid attention to when installing the rotary kiln tyre and supporting roller?

Rotary kiln tyre and supporting roller

When installing the kiln supporting roller, it is necessary to measure the size of the axle diameter, check and measure the error and roundness of the journal size, and then check whether the shaft surface is ground and whether the supporting roller bearing is deformed. Check whether there will be friction in the roller seat, then adjust it with the shim.

The key function of the kiln tyre is to drive the rotary kiln equipment cylinder to rotate. The correct installation of the tyre can effectively improve the production speed. Therefore, attention must be paid during installation to control the axis of the tyre and the supporting roller on the same horizontal line. If a line is skewed, it will cause serious wear on the surfaces of the two parts of the roller and the tyre, and the entire cylinder will be subjected to a force that is not conducive to rotation, resulting in a reduction in the speed of the cylinder during rotation, so when installing, be sure to control the tyre and the support roller axis to be on the same horizontal line.

After the installation is completed, the surface of the tire must be lubricated. The reason for the lubrication is that the tire is the key component that drives the rotation of the rotary kiln cylinder. If the surface friction of the tire is too large, it will affect the rotation speed, and the material will be over-burned, so the surface must be lubricated after the installation is completed.

When installing the supporting rollers and tyres of the rotary kiln, more measurements must be taken to reduce the wear between the components and do the corresponding maintenance work, so that the equipment can be kept in a good working condition at all times.
